Physical Therapy Assistant
We are currently hiring a compassionate and detail-oriented Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at The Physio Shop Tucson. In this role, the PTA will support Physical Therapists by guiding patients through prescribed exercises, monitoring progress, and helping implement therapy interventions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to adapt care plans based on patient response. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive setting that values teamwork and professional development while delivering quality rehabilitative care.
Physical Therapist
The Physio Shop Tucson is actively seeking a licensed and motivated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. This role involves designing and implementing personalized treatment plans to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. As part of a collaborative clinical environment, the Physical Therapist will work closely with clinicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a high standard of care. We are looking for someone who is passionate about functional movement, committed to continuous learning, and ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our diverse patient population.

Athletic Trainer
The Physio Shop Tucson is expanding its performance and recovery services and is looking for a certified Athletic Trainer to join our team. This position focuses on injury prevention, acute care, and rehabilitation for athletes and active individuals of all levels. The Athletic Trainer will work closely with physical therapists and strength coaches to design and implement programs that enhance performance and promote long-term wellness. Candidates should have a strong background in sports medicine, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to care in both clinical and on-field settings.
Initial contact included a wonderfully responsive administrative and front desk staff while making my initial appointment and managing insurance issues. The support staff is equally friendly, efficient and engaging in person. Appointments run on time and my PT (Jenny) is very knowledgeable, a great listener, is clear about understanding my goals and carefully explains the purpose of each exercise.

What We Do vs. What We Don't Do
Our Physiotherapists' Approach
- As a clinicians-first clinic, we prioritize the well-being and work/life balance of our physiotherapists so they can take excellent care of our valued patients.
- Our physiotherapy clinic is medicine as it should be, without turning medicine into a business.
- We focus on our patients’ long-term wellness and sustainable health.
- We develop fully customized, never repetitive physical therapy and physio training programs for each individual.
- Our clinic provides a continuity of care, in which patients can progress from physical therapy to physio training or sports performance training—all under one roof, thanks to our dual-credentialed physiotherapists.
What We don't do
- We don’t burn out our clinicians because patient care would suffer.
- We don’t bow down to red tape, nor do we prioritize profits over patient care.
- We don’t have a “Get ‘em in, get ‘em out” mentality toward our patients, focusing only on short-term results.
- We don’t provide cookie cutter training sessions, in which everyone does the same workout regardless of individual goals.
- We don’t believe in limited service offerings because our patients deserve choices.
