This realization took her to Flagstaff where she graduated from Northern Arizona University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Morgan’s first clinical rotation was right here at The Physio Shop, where she fell in love with the team culture and community. Being surrounded by expert clinicians from wide-ranging backgrounds created an environment of constant growth, which ultimately brought her back to working at The Physio Shop as a full-time Physical Therapist.
Although she was raised in Phoenix, Morgan is excited to call Tucson her new desert home. After physical therapy school, Randy went back to his alma mater, Purdue University, as an athletic trainer and the assistant director of physical therapy at the Campus Health Center. He provided medical care for the full student body, while working with the football program. Randy left Purdue in 1991 after the Boilermakers played in the Rose Bowl. He came to the University of Arizona as the Director of CATS Medical Services.
There, Randy oversaw the medical care for all student athletes, and was the head football athletic trainer for the Wildcat Football program. Randy did not miss a single practice, or a home or away game for 20 years. Randy’s career focus has been injury prevention and early return to activity. Randy has given more than 50 professional presentations on the active treatment of sports-related concussions, and was co-author of the first article to emphasize the importance of active treatment of concussions: “Concussion is Treatable: Statement of Agreement from the Targeted Evaluation and Active Management (TEAM) Approaches to Treating Concussion Meeting Held in Pittsburgh” published in Neurosurgery in 2016. Together with The Physio Shop’s Jason Klein, Randy presented a lecture on “Vestibular Rehabilitation After Concussion” at the Concussion Symposium at the Tucson Medical Center.
Randy’s rehab focus is to prevent long-term complications that can avoided by starting rehab early, and then emphasizing high-level activities before the return to sport. Randy believes all sports rehab is brain rehab, emphasizing how the brain moves the body. Randy believes exercise is medicine, and that treatment and rehab are not passive.
If you work with Randy, you can expect to do cardiovascular activity, work on overall body flexibility, and perform core activity while doing complex body movement for all conditions. The body wants to move and the brain guides all these movements. Hence, movement should become reflexive.
Reuben Cheng

cycling at LSU. As a PTA, Reuben worked for 2 years in outpatient orthopedics and
sports in the South Baton Rouge area alongside local high school sports. He and his

Tucson to spend his final rotation here at The Physio Shop where he was mentored by
John Robert Klass and Randy Cohen, focusing on orthopedic care, sports rehabilitation,
and health promotion.
Reuben is passionate about getting outdoors, teamwork, positivity, and often states that
motion is lotion! His clinical interests include sports rehabilitation, orthopedic/post-
operative care, and manual therapy. He works to build positive patient-provider
relationships and tailor treatment by listening and collaborating with patients to find the
best path to achieve their goals and beyond.
